Eurozone’s unemployment rate reached its 11-year peak
In the Euro-zone, the seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate is currently 9.8 percent, stagnaiting on its 11-year peak level in October, after the September rate was modified from 9.7 percent to 9.8 percent.
A year earlier, the unemployment rate was 7.9 percent.
Among the Member States; the lowest rates were measured in the Netherlands (3.7) and Austria (4.7), while the highest in Latvia (20.9) and Spain (19.3). Compared to the past year, the unemployment rate increased in all Member States, The lowest increase occured in Germany and Austria, while the highest in Latvia (from 9.1 to 20.9 ) and Lithuania (from 4.8 to 13.8) – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
