European Economic Forum: the wineries of the Danube Wine Region were introduced in Poland
Eight Bács-Kiskun and Csongrád County wineries of the Danube Wine Region debuted jointly at the 6th European Economic Forum, held in Lodz, Poland.
The wineries brought mainly traditional Hungarian wine varieties – kadarka, kövidinka, arany sárfehér, ezerjó, cserszegi fűszeres, Irsai Olivér – to Poland, but have also shown what they can do with international varieties such as cabernet, chardonnay or pinot noir.
On the basis of the first feedbacks, the potential Polish buyers considered the products of the wineries of the Danube Wine Region as good quality and adequate priced products. (MTI)
