European restaurants have won the list of the best in the world

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 ranking was announced on June 5, before the excellence of the gastronomic world. At the award ceremony supported by the premium mineral water brands S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, Barcelona’s Disfrutar won the award for the best restaurant in the world as well as the award for the best restaurant in Europe. At the event held at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel, the best restaurants and gastronomic talents from 26 regions on five continents were celebrated.

After last year’s second place, this year the Disfrutar restaurant from Barcelona took home the best award, while the second and third places went to Asador Etxebarri from Spain and Table by Bruno Verjus from France. The trademark of the winning restaurant is the use of modern techniques and impressive visual elements, which make the experience of traditional fine dining more exciting with a surprising twist. The Mediterranean identity appears in its menu, sprinkled with a hint of avant-garde taste, creating thought-provoking and daring contemporary food poems.
