European Commission: The EU is taking action against customs duties on frozen French fries in Colombia
The European Union classifies it as an illegal anti-dumping measure and initiates dispute settlement proceedings against Colombia at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over customs duties on frozen French fries imported from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands – the European Commission announced.
Cecilia Malmström, Commissioner for Trade, said: “Although we have repeatedly asked Colombia to lift the unjustified measures, we have not received a satisfactory response. We are therefore moving now and initiating proceedings at the WTO.” (MTI)
