Hoteliers in Europe are more pessimictic than their North American colleagues
The world's largest industry survey the TripAdvisor Industry Index investigated the global hotel industry's business prospects, the use of social media and mobile interfaces, as well as environmental efforts.
25,000 hoteliers were interviewed, in the scope of the worldwide survey, only in the USA, more than 5,000 professionals responded to the survey questions. Nearly half of the U.S. hoteliers expect a price increase in the autumn period.
The future vision in connection with the economic situation is the most positive in Indonesia, Brazil, Russia U.S.A. and India, the most pessimistic hoteliers are from New Zealand, France, Spain, Italy and Greece. (turizmusonline.hu)
