The second largest pig farm in Europe was attacked by ASF in Romania
Gicu Dragan, head of the branch office of the Braila County branch office, told Agerpres news agency on Saturday that the commercial unit, which consists essentially of three farms belongs to the Tebu Consult Braila company.
This is the second largest such facility in Europe with 135-140 thousand animals. The authorities sent samples of diseased animals for testing on Friday, and the results confirmed that African swine fever had affected some of the animals. The destruction of all animals will begin on Monday. (MTI)
