Europe's largest illegal cigarette factory was detected in Vecsés – the staff of the National Tax and Customs Authority announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

At the site, 22 tons of tobacco and 2.3 million pieces of cigarettes were seized by the financial investigators, that is equal to one and a half million boxes of cigarettes. The so called Golden Mount cigarettes were originally manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, its mmarket value on the English market is two and a half billion HUF. (MTI)
