EU funds are coming to Hungary, “and they are enjoying themselves,” the Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development said in Simontornya, Tolna County, on Tuesday.
Tibor Navracsics, in his speech at the handover of the EU-supported tourism developments in the area around Simontornya Castle, mentioned: “While we hear every day from self-proclaimed prophets and ambitious politicians that they will bring EU funds home to Hungary so that we can prosper, hardly a day goes by without us handing over some kind of investment that is being implemented from EU funds.”
In recent days, another 200 billion forint package has arrived from Brussels, which will enable further developments, “and so we are moving forward nicely,” from settlement to settlement, implementing new and new projects that contribute to Hungary becoming as strong and competitive as possible
– he added.
He emphasized that they believe that the strength and competitiveness of Hungary is also the strength and competitiveness of the European Union, and that the investments that are implemented in Simontornya will benefit not only the people of Simontornya, but also Southern Transdanubia, Hungary and the European Union as a whole. He pointed out that the stronger the communities at the local level, the stronger Hungary and the European Union will be.
