Eurobarometer: Hungarians trust in the union, but less in the Hungarian economy
The trust in the European Union is very strong in Hungary, on an EU comparison, however, the faith in the Hungarian Economy is still characterized by extreme pessimism among the population – shows the report of Eurobarometer.
Eighty percent of the Hungarian respondents – compared to the EU average of 65 percent – believe that the word of European Union counts in the world. Fifty-seven percent of the Hungarians are optimistic about the future of the EU, 53 percent feel secure in the EU. Among the 27 Member States confidence is the highest in Slovakia, while the lowest in Britain – reports privatbankar.hu.
