The largest domestic cycling promotion organization, the Hungarian Cycling Club, won 1st place in Content Development with its educational programs in the European Adult Education Platform competition. The publication can now be downloaded for free in English.

The cycling organization, the Hungarian Cycling Club, with over two thousand members, won an award in the EPALE competition with its Bebiciklízés Project and its renewed Kerékpáros Kisokos publication, which recognized their work in the field of cycling promotion and content development related to adult education.

EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) is a community of professionals involved in adult education – educators, trainers, researchers, policymakers – and the aim of the award is to support the European Union’s strategy to provide more and better learning opportunities for adults.

In its publication “Kerékpárosklub Kisokos”, which has been popular and useful for many years, the Hungarian Cycling Club also dispels many traffic misconceptions in addition to useful tips.

Kisokos also provides relevant tips for the winter months (e.g. How to dress for cycling in winter? How to maintain your bike in winter?), for both beginners and experienced cyclists. The renewed publication has also been expanded in terms of content with the latest traffic and road traffic information and instructions for comfortable and safe cycling. Kisokos can now be downloaded in English by those interested.

The Hungarian Cycling Club created the external and internal renewal of the publication with the support of foodora. With this, they continue the committed work they started 2 years ago to popularize sustainable transport.

The new publication has also been supplemented with a specifically “foodora version”, which courier partners receive as part of the onboarding process. This has made Kisokos a tool that helps couriers in their work. The English version, which is now debuting, will be integrated into the training materials of foreign courier partners, thus helping with integration and safe transportation.
