EU food aid: it is not known when the packages will be distributed

Food packages are distributed to the needy in Romania for many years with the support of the
European Union, usually before Christmas.

In the early years the municipalities directly arranged the distribution of the food packages and the process went more or less smoothly. However, last Christmas the Ministry for European funds, “forgot” conducted a public tender in October. Specifically, the distribution of the food packages was not cancelled only postponed.
