Labelling in restaurants
Legislative work related to information for consumers will soon begin in the European Parliament. In the opinion of professional organisations, it would be practically unfeasible or extremely costly for restaurants to list the nutritional values of all ingredients of all foods served. In New York, it is already mandatory for restaurants to list the calorie values for all items on their menus.
