The competition authority imposed fines due to dietary supplements
Several companies have given misleading information about certain dietary supplements that are containing devil's tongue extract (glucomannan).
The agency on Tuesday informed that the proposed daily doses of the Celsus Természetgyógyászati Kft. (Celsus Natural Health Ltd.) and the Integcom 2014 Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (previously: Integral Communications Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft., Integcom) and the Netamin Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (Netamin) contained only 0.6 to 1 gram, and 1 to 1.5 grams of glucomannan, so the indication on beneficial effects on health was unlawful. (MTI)
