Cooking oil cheaters were unveiled in Bács-Kiskun County
The cooking oil packaging plant, that was investigated by the staff of Nébih on Thursday did not meet with any legislations. The investigation was conducted in two locations simultaneously.
The on-site inspection found that the plant did not meet any relevant legislations (hygiene, HACCP, monitoring of health books etc). During the inspection of the site 7,000 liters of unmarked cooking oil of unknown origin was found. An additional 1,500 liters were already in the bottles. In addition, polluted, recollected 20 liter botlles were washed outside with natron and the liquid is pumped into the woods. Inside washing did not happen, the oil was filled right on the remains in the bottles. Based on datas found at the site, the oil was transported to about 1100 restaurants all over the country.
