New food scandal bursted out in China: The authorities highlighted that at least ten per cent of the cooking oils are produced illegally, and the oil contains highly toxic aflatoxins.
The country's food safety agency ordered a strict investigation of the case, and severe penalties for companies, which produced illegally cooking-oil.
According to the China Daily; the toxic cooking-oil was produced from used cooking oil.
The news agency’s report did not mention that the toxic substances were exported abroad – reports MTI.
