Capsule coffee instead espresso
The number of espresso coffee machines, sold over the last few years has continued to decline in Hungary, while the number of coffee capsule machines are increasing – said the Hungarian division leader of Nestlé Nespresso to MTI.
Gábor Flesch pointed out: while in 2007, 237 thousand new espresso machines were sold in Hungary, in 2009 only 157 thousand. The proportion of coffee capsule machines steadily increased during this period. The coffee capsule has the advantage of using vacuum-packed portions of coffee, which would lead to better quality and always fresh coffee can be obtained – reports MTI.
