The EU directive against flavored tobacco products remains in force
The European Court of Justice (ECJ) confirmed the validity of the five-year EU directive on the withdrawal of flavored tobacco products, which was adopted five years ago.
In a lawsuit initiated by a German tobacco company, Planta Tabak, the Community Tobacco Products Directive is discriminatory, disproportionate and infringes legal certainty by imposing different rules on companies of different sizes. (vg.hu)
