Serbian-Hungarian agricultural trade is expanding vigorously
Hungarian agricultural exports to Serbia increased by 38 percent in 2011, compared to the previous year and exceeded 50 million euros. Imports from Hungary’s southern neighbour increased by 50 percent to 70.6 million euros – said Czerván György, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Rural Development responisble for agri management on Wednesday in Kalocsa.
The doubling of meat and the grain exports provided impetus for the Hungarian exports in 2011 – pointed out Czerván György at the Serbian-Hungarian business meeting.
The Secretary of State, referred to datas, that the Hungarian agricultural exports towards Serbia in 2008, reached 53 million euros with a 16 percent increase, however, the financial and economic crisis exports fell to 36 million euros and in 2010 only slightly increased. (MTI)
