Consumer confidence increased in Germany
Experts expected stagnaton, but the German consumer confidence has risen, according to a survey published by GfK on Thursday.
The Nuremberg Market Research Institute’s consumer mood index in February was 11 points, the highest since since October 2001, after the 10.8 points of January and 10.7 points of December.
Experts expected the same value as in January.
The sub-index of income expectations increased from 54.3 to 56.8 points, and the willingness to purchase sub-index improved from 57.1 to 60.4 points. (MTI)
