Strengthening local communities: more EU funds for rural development

In the following years more EU resources will be allocated to increase the attractiveness of rural life.

The Hungarian National Rural Network (HNRN), which supports the implementation of hundreds of new programs, supports the idea to strengthen the local communities – said Mezőszentgyörgyi Dávid, secretary general of the organization told MTI.

The European Union (EU) in the case of Hungary increased the support on rural development from the previous 9 to 15 billion HUF. (MTI)
