The protection of origin is strengthening at the Tokaj wine region

The Mountain Village Board of the Tokaj Wine Region aims to strengthen the protection of the origin of the Tokaji wines by modifying the standards.

New values will be determined for the alcohol content and sugar content of the Tokaji Aszú wines. Another new rule, that thee wines, marketed under the Tokaji name should be bottled in the wine region, from the next summer – the panel told MTI on Friday. (MTI)
