More robust performance from hypermarkets

Last year the annual grill sausage market was around HUF 1.2 billion. The season lasts from May until August each year (85 percent of sales were realised in this period last year) and in this period in 2012 retail sales were up 3 percent in value but they were down 3 percent in volume. Hypermarkets’ share from sales grew from 49 to 52 percent, while the 401-2,500m² channel lost ground, shrinking from 44 to 41 percent.
