No agriculture without strong horticulture
The Hungarian agriculture cannot exist without a strong horticultural sector – Czerván György, Minister of State for the Ministry of Agriculture spoke about the importance of the sector at the 1stI horticultural conference on Thursday in Szeged.
He added that horticulture is the the third largest sector in agriculture after the wheat industry and animal husbandry. The horticultural sector produces 13-14 percent of the production value.
He explained that horticulture also contributed to the to the excellent results of the Hungarian agriculture in 2014. (MTI)
