Tesco reported a strong half-year in Central Europe

Improved business data reported by Tesco
According to the interim report for the first half of the 2021-2022 business year, Tesco’s group sales increased by 2.6 percent year-on-year to 27.331 billion pounds (almost 12,000 billion HUF).
Group-wide operating profit excluding individual items was 1.458 billion pounds, up 40.6 percent at current exchange rates, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
