JYSK had a strong year despite global challenges
The global turnover of the Danish retail chain JYSK increased by 6.3 percent in the financial year 2022/23, reaching 38.5 billion Danish kroner (5.2 billion euros), while the result before tax (EBIT) was 3.96 billion Danish kroner koruna (531 million euros), according to the company’s announcement sent to MTI.
The Danish retail chain also continued to expand, welcoming more than 1.2 million new customers to its stores in 48 countries despite the slowdown in the global retail market. The sales revenue in Hungary amounted to more than HUF 97 billion, including the results of the logistics center, the announcement reads.
