LG’s new Swing smart monitor comes with a touchscreen and a flexible stand
LG Electronics (LG) has officially introduced the LG Swing smart monitor (model 32U889SA), which will be available in Hungary in the second half of the summer. The new display is the latest member of the innovative smart monitor range, which also won the CES 2025 Innovation Award. The device can be used without a computer, and its unique features support both efficiency and entertainment. The model’s special feature is the flexible, movable stand and touch screen. Equipped with more input connectors than the original LG Smart Monitor, the 32U889SA is LG’s most versatile smart monitor to date, which adapts perfectly to different user needs.
The LG Smart Monitor Swing has a flexible, rolling stand that guarantees versatile and ergonomic use. The all-new stand concept allows users to easily move the screen to the ideal angle for their situation: watching a movie from bed, pulling it closer for touch-based use, or using it as part of a productive workstation. Its unique design makes the monitor ideal for creative activities, such as creating digital artwork or, for musicians, conveniently displaying sheet music.
The LG Smart Monitor Swing is ideal for both work and play. With a 32-inch 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) IPS display, it delivers exceptionally clear and contrasting images and realistic colors. The large 4K screen provides ample space for multitasking and displays text clearly and clearly, ensuring maximum comfort when performing demanding tasks. Powered by LG’s award-winning webOS smart TV platform, the monitor offers a wide range of productivity apps and entertainment options, allowing users to conveniently switch between cloud-based office applications and remote PC connectivity at any time – all without having to connect to a PC directly.
For the first time in a smart monitor, the entire surface of the new model can be used as a touch screen, making navigation and content management even more convenient. The model is also equipped with built-in speakers and a variety of connectivity options, including 65W USB Type-C and HDMI ports.
In addition to its hardware capabilities, the LG Smart Monitor Swing offers a number of smart features that allow users to customize the screen experience to their preferences. The Auto Pivot function automatically adjusts the display orientation to the content being viewed. This feature works well with popular apps designed for short-form video content via webOS, ensuring optimal viewing without manual adjustments.
When connected to a computer, the LG Switch app provides convenient control: when the screen is rotated, it automatically adjusts the display to portrait orientation, even in a PC work environment. The app also offers a variety of productivity-enhancing features: for example, you can split the screen into various selectable layouts to display multiple windows at the same time, fully customize monitor settings, and manage multiple connected input devices using a keyboard and mouse. The monitor allows you to instantly switch between PC and Smart TV user systems, while the app makes it easy to make the necessary display settings.
