A new chapter in the history of Hungarian space exploration is expected to open this weekend, June 8: Tibor Kapu, the next Hungarian astronaut, will set off for the International Space Station as part of the HUNOR program. The trip is not only a scientific milestone, but also a special gastronomic mission, as Tibor will take with him an iconic Hungarian sweet, the Stühmer Pillanat Corfu space chocolate – which anyone can now taste.

One of the main reasons for this is that microgravity rearranges the fluids in the body, saturates the nasal and facial sinuses, reducing the sense of smell and thus the sense of taste.
