Hungarian dairy industry may operate successfully

In the case of the long-term survival of the current funding system and in the case of feed price decrease, the domestic dairy sector may operate effectively in long-terms. The new system will give more support than the previous, but only if the producers will apply.

If last year's support level remains, diary production can be effective in long terms in Hungary, but today, the producers who produce profits are not dominating – told Istvánfalvi Miklós, Vice-President of the Milk Marketing Board to Világgazdaság. He added that it would be also necessary, that the current, abnormally high feed prices to be declined to a  manageable level – reports Világgazdaság Online.
