The Vasi wild pear pálinka was given origin protection
The Vasi wild pear pálinka has become an origin protected product, within the Origin Protection Program – the Minister of Agriculture announced at the press conference in Budapest in the House of Hungarian Pálinka.
Fazekas Sándor reminded that the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) in 2014 set up a task to ensure that as many Hungarian food and drink to be geographically protected originated in order to be present both in internal and external markets. The Origin Protection Program was launched in 2015 in this spirit. (MTI)
