Mars working for deforestation-free cocoa production
Confectionery maker Mars Wrigley continues the action plan, Cocoa for Generations, which they announced in September 2018. The plan seeks to make Mars’ cocoa supply chain fully sustainable and transparent by 2025. John Ament, global cocoa vice president of the company told: since the programme’s launch they have already GPS-mapped 24 percent of the company’s global cocoa supply chain to farm level. //
