Russian wheat barely cover the domestic needs
On the 1st of October, Russian grain stocks were on 41.6 million tonnes. It is 20.8 percent less than a year earlier.
According to the communication of the Russian Grain Association; wheat stocks were 14.4 percent less, compared to October last year.
Russia last year was the world's third largest grain exporter, with more than 24 million tons of grain. Last year's grain stocks were about 26 million tonnes. Last year’s stocks, with this year's harvest barely cover the 87 million tonnes domestic needs – reports MTI.
