Measures to be weakened
The Hungarian authorities will review the measures taken on last Wednesday that were related to the German meat and meat product imports.
In the last few days, dioxin-contaminated products were not found, the German products are safe – said Kardeván Endre, State-Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development. However, the Hungarian authorities continue to consider the consumer protection of the Hungarian consumers important, therefore, strict controls will remain – added Kardeván Endre.
