Consumer confidence in the United States declined slightly in May
Consumer confidence in the United States deteriorated slightly in May, but is still very close to the level before last year’s coronavirus crisis appeared.
The Conference Board, a nonprofit economic research institute, announced on Tuesday that its consumer confidence index had fallen from 117.5 points to 117.2 points in April. Analysts expected an improvement of 119.2 points from May. (MTI)
