UN: less meat against climate change
The UN expert report draws attention, that fossil fuels and food production are responsible for the majority of the greenhouse gases.
The food production is responsible for 18 percent of the greenhouse gases. Seventy percent of the global fresh water and thirty-eight percent of the fields are used for this purpose. According to UN experts, a significant change can only be achieved if the whole world would change its eating habits, namely: eating less meat – reports Világgazdaság Online.
