That’s how much a beer cost in the EB fanzone in Cologne over the weekend
In the EB fanzone in Cologne, fans had to pay 6 euros, i.e. approximately HUF 2,390, for a fried hot dog, but the same price also applied to a half-liter draft beer. In the fan zone, half a liter of cola and water were also in the same price category.
Another interesting thing was that the issued glasses had a deposit fee, which further increased the costs. The deposit fee alone was 2 euros, so if someone asked for their first beer, they paid no less than 8 euros in total, i.e. approximately HUF 3,187. This price may have surprised many, especially those who, in addition to the high ticket prices, accommodation fees, and other travel expenses, had already spent a significant amount of money on the event.
