eNET: Hungarian e-retail market has grown tenfold in ten years
The net turnover of the Hungarian online retailers was 545 billion forints last year. It was the first time that it has reached 500 billion HUF psychological limit. Ten years earlier, it was only a tenth of it, 46 billion forints – eNET told MTI on Tuesday.
Last year, sales over the Internet increased by 27 percent, compared to the previous year, and 6.2 percent of the total retail sales were made online. The proportion of e-commerce has increased by more than one-and-a-half times over three years. (MTI)
