eNENET-Telekom: a report on Internet Economy
The gaining ground of smart phones is in momentum in Hungary – the service providers have exceeded last years 800 thousand sales already until October 2012, and thanks to the Christmas rush, until the end of the year a total more than 1 million smartphones can be sold, so in Hungary, every third mobile phone will be a smartphone – shows eNET – Telekom’s “Report on Internet Economy” research.
Smart gifts are under the tree
With this year's sales in Hungary the number of domestic smart phones will be 2.9 million, which means the 33 percent of the stagnating domestic mobile phone stocks. Compared to the neighboring countries the Hungarian market is at the forefront of, but Hungary is still far from the 50 percent level, that was measured in the United States in 2011.
