Cleaning product average prices augmented
The market of household cleaning products contracted by 2 percent last year, with retail sales amounting to HUF 20 billion – states the Nielsen Retail Index. General cleaning product, scrubber and window cleaner sales fell, while toilet cleaners and wet wipes augmented. The market of general cleaners and scrubbers is at HUF 12 billion. Volume sale-weighted average prices were up in each category. Private labels’ market share was 18 percent for both general and toilet cleaners in last November-December; wet wipes were at 52 percent.
