US consumer spendings increased
Consumers’ expenditure in the United States increased steadily in August as a sign of strong economic growth, while annual consumer price indices excluding consumer and non-food prices had reached 2 percent for the fourth month this year.
The Washington Department of Commerce announced on Friday that in August, consumer spending and personal incomes both increased by 0.3 percent in a monthly comparision.
In July, earnings grew by 0.3 percent and expenditures grew by 0.4 percent. (MTI)
