Consumer incomes and expenditures rose in the world’s largest economy
Consumers’ incomes and expenditures in the United States increased in June, but annual consumer price indices excluding consumer and non-food prices remained below 2 percent.
The Washington Department of Commerce announced that consumer spending and personal incomes increased by 0.4 percent in June, in line with analysts’ expectations.
In May, incomes grew by 0.4 percent and expenditures by 0.5 percent. (MTI)
