Increasing Danone profits rising prices

Danone expects raw material price increases this year. The world's largest yogurt producer would like to offset the effect, with the reducing of costs and with the raising of consumer prices.

Danone, the producer of Activial, Actimel and several other well-known prodeuct lines reached, 1.87 billion euros after-tax profits in 2010, 38 percent more than in the previous year. The turnover of the company increased by 14 percent to 17.01 billion euros – announced the French company on Tuesday – reports Profitline.hu, after MTI.
