The proportion of women is rising in the management of German companies
In five years, the proportion of women in the management of German companies has doubled and increased to over 10 percent, according to a statement released Friday.
According to EY’s international consultancy firm, in case of two thirds of the 160 leading German listed companies only men can be found on the board of directors, and very few women can be found in senior management positions at other companies as well.
Thus, out of 697 board positions, 633 are for men and only 64 for women, which is only 11 percent. (MTI)
