The range of products that can be sold in tobacco stores to expand

Hegmanné Nemes Sára Minister of State of the Ministry of National Development, responsible for assets told that due to the social needs and expectations, the retailers' indications and practical experiences, the law on suppressing smoking among youth and about tobacco retail to be expanded.

Hegmanné Nemes Sára told that the proposal initiates to expand the range of tradable products in the tobacco shops minimally, while the the issuance of new licenses would be increased from the former two thousand to three thousand person per settlement. The latter measure will reduce the number of tobacco stores, but both measures would serve that the operation of the tobacco retail to become more balanced – she added. (MTI)
