Milk prices can rise in the second half of the year
In the first days of January, UHT and ESL milk became cheaper in stores by about 11 percent, according to a survey by the Milk Product Council – Istvánfalvi Miklós, the president of the organization told. However, low prices due to VAT reductions will only last for a few months.
From 2 January, the Milk Product Council’s staff will review the liter price of milk in the shops, and if they don’t get to every store, they see the price drop in most of the supermarket chains. (infostart.hu)
