The price of honey may increase
Beekeepers expect higher honey prices this year, because acacia was frozen in several areas and bees have less time to collect nectar – Zalai Hírlap wrote on Tuesday.
Last year, the purchase price of barelled acacia honey ranged from 850 to 900 forints per kilo, this year, beekeepers expect a more realistic price of 1,000 forints. The price of mixed honey may rise from 650 – 700 forints to 850 – 900 forints. (MTI)
