The number of tourists choosing to travel to Slovakia has increased

In the summer high season and in the first eight months of the year, the number of tourists choosing Slovakia for their destination has risen this year – the Slovak Ministry of Transport and Construction announced.

According to the Ministry, in the first 8 months of the year, 3.71 million tourists selected Slovakia as their destination, about 8 percent more than a year ago. By the end of August, tourists spent over 10 million guest nights in Slovakia, spending an average of 2.7 guest nights. (Starovic Tibor, MTI)
