Retail sales rose in Germany
Lower than expected growth occurred in German retail sales in August – the German statistical office, the Destatis announced.
According to the seasonal and calendar adjusted datas, retail sales rose by 0.5 percent in real terms, compared to July, and compared to a year before by 0.3 percent in Europe's largest economy. From January to August retail sales increased by 0.1 percent in real terms compared with the same period of the previous year. (Világgazdaság Online)
