Food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices increased in the euro area
After stagnating in April, consumer prices in the euro zone fell in March – Eurostat announced on Friday.
According to the flash estimate of the European Union's statistical office, the consumer price index fell by 0.2 percent in the euro zone in April.
The price level of services increased by 1.0 percent, food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco prices rose by 0.8 percent, while energy prices fell by 8.6 percent. (MTI)
