The euro area’s economy has lost momentum
In May, the growth rate of economic performance in the euro area slowed down to the level of 18 months before, according to the survey published by the IHS Markit Economics Institute in London on Wednesday – tozsdeforum.hu.wrote.
The preliminary value of the purchasing manager index (PMI) in the euro area’s manufacturing industry in May decreased to 54.5 points from the 56.2 points of April, which is an 18 months nadir. The market expected a much smaller decline for May: 56.1 points. (tozsdeforum.hu)
