The European Court of Justice rejected the Hungarian appeal in the 'Tokaj' brand name case
The European Court of Justice rejected the Hungarian appeal in the 'Tokaj' brand name case on Thursday, stating that, the Slovak “Vinohradnícka oblast 'Tokaj” names cannot be challenged in the register.
The electronic entry happened. in the E-Bacchus electronic register.
The panel highlighted in the explanatory memorandum that the Tokaj wine region covers the territory of Hungary and Slovakia as well.
